Competition Saturday
Well the time has come for me to compete. I am feeling really good about the meet and everything I have worked so hard for this and put in extra practice time even with my busy schedule with school and working from 3-11 at night. It takes it's toll on me that's for sure, but this is something I have wanted more than anything and the thought that I am getting there is awesome. I am very proud of my progress although I am an unattached person, basically I am my own coach for now. This meet this weekend is an open meet and it will be held at Mizzou in Columbia, Missouri which I am dying to get into that school, but they are very very competitive in all their sports so I couldn't just apply there I have to wait for that in 2 years. If I wouldn't of dropped track my senior year of school I wouldn't be going through this mess, but it will be worth it. It's not a lose cause to get on a college team, who knows if I am good enough at the competition I could very easily have a coach from some college want me. Which my high school coach says is possibly so who knows. I have to go there with my A game and hope for the best. I have no room to think negatively here, if I do that I might as well not even go to the open meet because I will lose hands down. Tell you one thing after being my own coach and doing things on my own it will be great to know that I won this match on my own with out the help and that's worth more to me right now than having a coach to guide me although I need on now more than ever. On that note I am nervous as all hell. I guess because the college gals will be throwing too, which I know that they would be it, but it just hit me and I'm like oh hell I have to really keep my A game up and prove to them that guess what I am here and I may be unattached but I will be damned if I am gonna let that stop me from winning. Sometimes though I get so frustrated because of the fact that I haven't found that coach to help me 100% but I figure I will find someone soon, it takes time. Ha also this is funny, I went and talked my high school coach although I know that he can't be my coach..boooo...but anyway's I am like so is there any other events I maybe good at for my next open event I can do. Well he's like let's try ya pole vaulting and long jumping and then I hammer throwed although high school doesn't have that. Ok!! Note to self never long jump or any form of jumping again...not only was I long jumping I did triple and I'm like ya this is gonna work. I knew I was a thrower for a reason. After jumping I couldn't feel my legs I was like hell this isn't good....so I'm like I give kudos to any jumper out there keep jumping...so then I went to pole vault that was sweet, but ha not my thing either. It was by far better than jumping...I think my legs are not made for jumping. I about killed them literally they never hurt so bad the next day in my life. Anyway's I stick to my shot put, discus and hammer skills. Ya'll wish me luck on Saturday!!!

Sweet Action And A Half!!
The title speaks for itself. Yes, I am completely random. I have different words that mean the same thing. Like if someone is I won 1 million dollars then my reaction would be sweet action and a thousand halves also I'd be like now you can pay me back for all the money you owe me....lol...j/k...See I am way too sarcastic and too much of a jokester for me own good. I don't think people can tell when I am serious or just being funny. Tell ya one thing, you will know when I am serious about something because I am not joking about anything or using...acronyms or something worrysome in on my FB status. Also, sometimes I piss people off because I joke too much...oh well....lol..I am me in that department...I mean nothing by the jokes and you shouldn't ever take what I say serious unless I'm not being funny about it at all.
Here's some words of mine that I use and some others like and are now using!!

Thanking god!!
Tonight I was sitting at home having fun hanging out with my brother's g/f., when I got a call from my dad, we were thankful that he finally called after hunting was over because it was dark and late. The call was not what I was hoping to hear, he called and said that someone needed to come and get him, he told me where I was and my brother and I went to go get him. The first thought that came to my mind was that he was hurt and I was really worried. I kept saying to myself and praying that he is okay. Once we got there I was relieved to see he was okay. The left front tire literally fell off and it was laying in the woods further back down the road from where the truck was. This situation could of been worse and I am thank god that it wasn't worse and that he is alright. I am glad that someone was looking out for him tonight!!
To my new friend!!!
Today is just another cold day in December as usual and it's a sleepy down day!! I am thankful that I have such wonderful friends new and old in my life. One new friend in my life is Lauren, she's pretty cool and well talented--even more than I am. She's pretty cool to talk and so funny. I had to throw that out there. I hope everything goes well for her in all her events she has to do that she has been stressed with here lately. It will all go great and just relax and breath. Good luck hun!!! Well, I am out!!

Track!!
So first off just let me start by saying hello to this blogness and that I will be I guess talking about Track and other stuff on this blog...this topic is Track and Field.
Track & Field is much more than an Olympic sport, it's for all levels of competition or something you can do just as a recreational sport. I am involved in Track and Field, but I bet some of you were thinking I am another runner or I do events such as; 100m dash, 4x100 relay...etc. You would be furthest from the warm sun. I am actually believe it or not a thrower. I throw shot and discus although I may add hammer throw to that as well. Some ask well don't you run?? Or I thought this was a running sport. I do run when I practice, but that's why it's called Track and Field for a reason. Can you imagine how boring it'd be just to watch running and that's all? I do hope make 2012. I hope I have what it takes but with dedication and all the other ingredients anything is possible.
Track and Field is a widely popular sport, but I still consider it an underdog sport because it does not get the recognition as it should, unless it's about running then of course so. I would like to see Track & Field as one instead the Track. I would love for throwing to become more popular and I hope to get more people in tune to the sport and to have this event be more known instead of it barely being talked about.
This is a continuation I have more to add to this later.

Attitude!!
Attitude is a very crucial part of my training. How you act in your A game and sport determines the type of sportsmanship you have. If you have a bad attitude in your game then what does that say about your character or personality? I guess your mindset in the moment could count as well. Sure we all have bad moments and horrible practices, but we must remember that it's the little fall backs and obstacles that make us stronger.
You can be the strongest person in the world, but if you do not have the right attitude or mindset you are weak. A good athlete and people who enjoy whatever it is they do, have a good positive attitude and are optimistic. That is honestly the way to be. It does no good to have a negative outlook everything, it gets you know where and all you are is tense and bring others down because of it.
Here lately my attitude has been tested in the process of my training. I could do one of two things. B**** about how I should of done better or keep a good mindset and evaluate what I did wrong and what I need to improve on to become better during the my journey in training.
All in all, In order to have a job well done is to have a positive attitude and always believe in yourself no matter how rough and tough the challenge my be. Also, never limit yourself to one goal. You never know what you are capable of with a good attitude and mindset to back you up.
